「スパイアと第一法規は、6月に会社員を対象にした「コンプライアンスに関するアンケート調査」を行い、1000 名の回答を得た。コンプライアンスを意識している人は全体の5割近く、「どちらかといえば意識している」を合わせると、全体の8割以上がコンプライアンスに関する何らかの意識を持っている。しかし、実際に職場内でコンプライアンス違反があった場合に、上司や内部通報窓口に知らせると答えた人は2割台にとどまっており……
意識と実践には開きが見られた。／また、違反の際の報告行動については、管理職と一般社員の間に違いがある。管理職では「知らせる」とした割合は40.7％であるのに対して、一般会社員では23.2％と低くなっており、管理職はより強いコンプライアンス意識を持つ状況にあると言える」（headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20090729-00000005-sh_mar-sci）。

他人の状況に自分を委ねる・耳を傾ける
身体．．．身振りで周囲の出来事に反応することは、言葉ではないので、自分が目撃することが可能かどうか(p125-6)　“Putting yourself into the ‘place’ of another person”:
“to sense what it is that they’re responding to….to be tuned into something that you then pick up as a witness– not [only] as an interviewer, not [only] as a listener”
